Can I have my exam proctored if I am using a 3rd-party application?

If you are using an application outside of Canvas, such as these 3rd-party assessment tools, you may have to determine if your specific assessment tool is functional in our center. The ISU Test Center uses IP filtering to restrict exam access.  The 3rd-party tool would need to be able to also use IP filtering. You may need to: 

• Create a quiz in Canvas instead of using the assessment tools from 3rd-party applications
  
  OR

• contact your 3rd-party provider for guidance on how you might export your exam to Canvas

Before scheduling a 3rd-party application assessment, arrange a visit to determine if your application can be deployed in our center. Please note that test center staff may not have access to any settings of the 3rd-party application and would need to engage faculty directly on issues.
