Submitting Exam Requests

RegisterBlast, an appointment scheduling and exam registration software installed in Canvas, allows instructors to submit exam requests and enables students to schedule their appointments for approved exams via the course’s Canvas shell.  Submitting an exam request does not guarantee the Testing Center will host the exam.  Quizzes/exams are delivered via Canvas, not through RegisterBlast. 

Upon an exam request approval, instructors must make settings adjustments in their Canvas quizzes/exams. See our Setting Up Your Exam in Canvas page for additional details.

Please review our instructor use policies page before submitting an exam request.  The Testing Center does not proctor written exams.

Instructor Checklist

The Testing Center provides instructors with a quick-look checklist for courses using the Testing Center.  This instructor checklist can be printed and used to ensure you have set up your exams correctly.  This list is not all-inclusive.  Instructors are responsible for reviewing the Testing Center’s website for detailed information on setting up exams and understanding use policies. 

Spring 2026 Exam Requests

Exam requests will open via RegisterBlast on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.  Any requests submitted prior to that time will be deleted.
