Face-to-Face Course (Canvas Exam)
The Testing Center will host exams for this course. Schedule your required exam appointment in advance and adhere to the guidelines for scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling. Visit the Testing Center’s website for additional information on what to expect when using their facilities. The Testing Center will have modified procedures during Finals Week, so please plan accordingly. For questions, reach out to the Testing Center team by emailing testcenterhelp@iastate.edu.
Online or Hybrid Course using In-Person, Off-Campus Proctoring (Canvas Exam)
The Testing Center will host exams in this course. For questions, reach out to the Testing Center team by emailing testcenterhelp@iastate.edu.
For students within the Ames area: Schedule your required exam appointment in advance and adhere to the guidelines for scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling. Take your exam at any open Testing Center location. Visit the Testing Center’s website for additional information on what to expect when using their facilities. The Testing Center will have modified procedures during Finals Week, so please plan accordingly.
For students outside of the City of Ames: You are responsible for and required to arrange for an authorized external proctor to supervise your exams in this course. Please choose a proctor who meets the Testing Center’s Off-Campus Proctoring policies and follow instructions for selecting and submitting proctors. Upon approval, your proctor will receive exam instructions and will be responsible for supervising your exam session.

For students outside the City of Ames: Virtual Proctoring is provided by SmarterProctoring. An opt-out option is provided.

Proctored exams are required for this course. For questions, reach out to the Testing Center team by emailing testcenterhelp@iastate.edu.
For students living within the City of Ames: The Testing Center does not proctor paper-based exams. Instructors are responsible for arranging a time and location to proctor it.
